WHAT OFM LOVES ABOUT FOOD IN 2017

When I lived in London the third Sunday of every month was an auspicious date. Whilst on the hunt for a decent coffee, it was a certainty at least, that the newsagent had a treat in store. This was the day, the Observer Food Monthly was published, and that was always a must buy publication.

It would take a minimum of two lattes to read cover to cover and later I would walk home awash in caffeine and contentment.  This particular edition  Is a reminder of why it gave me so much enjoyment.

Maybe it is a recommendation for a superbly crafted Hong Kong recipe blog, or a LA producer of a lacto fermented hot sauce , or the re-birth of Mangalista pigs or possibly a timely reminder from the great Wendell Berry, you can always be guaranteed a great read.

Me? I am off to grab a latte.
